There is a scene from the Indiana Jones movie, "The Last Crusade", where Jones comes to the edge of an impossible situation. He is trapped on a very narrow cliff edge overlooking a deep ravine. No way across and no option to go back the way he had come. Getting to the other side of that ravine was the only way out, and there was no way......until he pushed through every fear and emergency brake his brain and body tried to pull. He closes his eyes and takes a big step into the dark ravine. Shockingly, his foot meets ground and upon looking at the ravine from a different perspective, he realizes there was a path forward all along. A bridge between the impossible and possible was discovered only through his stepping forward.
The word start means "to bring into being". Take one step. Follow through with a curiosity. Keep a promise to yourself. Start. Instead of waiting on perfection, timing, plans, circumstances, ability, product, materials, equipment, start. Perfection is empty illusion. Action is fulfillment. Start creating a way. Step forward and the road will rise to meet you.
"Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the assessment that something else is more important than fear."
-Franklin D. Roosevelt
